Evidence That Britain is Struggling to Become Post Racial

Director of race equality think tank Runnymede Trust Dr Omar Khan breaks down his research on the stark inequalities that BME’s face in Britain today.

Dr Khan is an author and Director of Britain’s leading race equality think tank The Runnymede Trust. Runnymede publish research and content that work towards a Britain in which all citizens and communities feel valued, equal, with the same opportunities to lead fulfilling lives. Runneymede believe that evidence based research alongside democratic dialogue, policy, and practice are the keys to overcoming racial inequality. Dr Khan obtained his PHD in Political Theory from Oxford, and also has a Masters in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Masters in South Asian Studies from SOAS. He is also Chair of the Ethnicity Strand Advisory Group and the advisory group to the Centre on Dynamics of Ethnicity.
