Author and Professor of Politics at Birkbeck University Eric Kaufmann discusses the rise of post Brexit populism and the concept of racial self interest.

Eric Kaufmann

Eric is an author and professor of Politics at Birkbeck University. He covers issues around cultural politics, ethnicity, national identity and religion. He is published extensively on the rise in post Brexit nationalism, the white British response to immigration and ethnic changes to society. He is also author of a research report that examines attitudes towards racism amongst British and American voters of different races and political persuasions called “Racial Self Interest is not Racism”. Eric is editor of the LSE based journal Nations and Nationalism.
