The Politics of Race in Britain and South Africa

Dr Elizabeth Williams

Dr Williams is an International Lecturer, Author, and Cultural Historian of Modern British History. Her teaching and research focus mainly on the history of Africa and its relations with Britain and Europe. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and visiting fellow in the history department of Goldsmiths University of London. In addition to her book, The Politics of Race in Britain & South Africa, Dr Williams has been published in various other peer-reviewed journals and books. Her a PhD is in History from the School of History, Classics and Archaeology; Birkbeck, University of London (2009)
